This ritual is a homecoming — a tender meeting with the younger self who seeks your love.
What you’ll need:
A pink candle (symbol of unconditional love)
A small object or photo that reminds you of childhood
A journal and pen
How to begin:
Create a small space of comfort — a blanket on the floor, a cushion, a soft piece of music. Place the pink candle before you and light it with care. Whisper:
“This flame is the love that never left me.”
Hold your childhood object or photo. Close your eyes and imagine your younger self sitting across from you. What does she look like? What does she need?
Gently place your hand over your heart and say:
“I see you. I love you. I will never leave you.”
Let emotion move freely — laughter, warmth, or tears. When ready, open your journal and write a short letter to your inner child, telling her what she needed to hear all along.
Allow the candle to burn safely as you write. When you finish, sit in silence, letting the flame mirror your own inner light — steady, alive, and whole.
Blow out the candle with gratitude, whispering:
“You are safe now. We are home.”
